This atlas follows the modern THEA1200 recreation. The attraction is a full-size keyboard-computer experience with contemporary connections, approached as something to use at home rather than an original machine to restore.
A permanent desk position makes sense when the keyboard and mouse are part of what you enjoy. The machine can become the reason to sit down and explore, instead of an object that must be unpacked for every short session.
What living with it involves.
Keep a usable mouse area beside the keyboard, then include the display connection, power supply and gamepad in the plan. A clear work surface does more for the experience than a shelf filled with unrelated nostalgia.
The tradeoff
Modern connectivity does not remove the physical demands of a full-size computer. A desk that looks calm with the machine alone may feel crowded once the mouse and controller are in use.
One object. Three arrangements.
Display. Play. Put away.
01 / display
What stays out?
Make a deliberate place for the full keyboard. Original A1200 measurements cannot establish the recreation’s fit.
02 / play
Where do you play?
Keep the mouse surface and controller route usable without moving decorative objects each time.
03 / storage
Where does it go?
Give the gamepad and power accessories their own place. Keep the keyboard’s working position available if frequent use is the aim.

An everyday routine
Make it easy to come back.
Verify the recreation’s current documentation and package, not an original Amiga manual.
Arrange the display and input devices around comfortable everyday use.
Return the gamepad to nearby storage and leave the mouse surface clear.

From object to home / Proudly displayed
An arcade belongs here.
Give one expressive object a deliberate place, and let the rest of the room keep being itself.
